Mission/Purpose of the Job

The Manager, Regional Warranty is responsible for the Warranty performance of dealers in the specified region(s). Responsibilities include leading a regional claims administration team, driving action to increase dealer autonomy and mitigate risk of low performing dealers. Additional responsibility will be to ensure results are delivered on time, forecasted and on budget.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Manage the regional warranty administrator team with a focus on individual and team development to achieve set target and goals. Optimize operational performance and drive efficiency within claims administration process. Ensure prompt, courteous and professional processing of warranty claims; promptly resolve disputes to achieve resolution. Interact with dealers frequently to help our mutual customers win

  • Oversee and participate in warranty audits as required to mitigate risk and ensure set policies and procedures are adhered to. Create mitigation plans as needed and drive a quality mind-set with identified party

  • Manage diverse dealer portfolio of various degree of performance while maintaining a fair and balanced approach to claim adjudication. Continuously increase autonomy of top performing dealers. Create improvement plans for low performing dealers and follow up on and improve performance of low performing dealers

  • Collaborate with dealers, field service and other aftermarket support staff to drive dealer autonomy and follow up and measure accordingly. Address deviations and create improvement/correction plans as needed. Lead actions and initiatives that drive desired behaviour and results

  • Provide direction and input to Warranty Program Managers to develop future improvements and to implement changes seamlessly

  • Assign and follow-up on stretch activities within the team in order to stimulate growth and accomplish objectives

  • Prepare executive level reporting with a high level focus on activities that are critical to achieving objectives and long-term success of aftermarket area

Essential Educational and/or Training Qualifications and Certificates

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management (or comparable)

Preferred Experience and Knowledge

  • 5-7 Years Industry Experience

  • Understanding of dealer environment

  • Comfort with a fast paced, always-on North American and global environment

Other:

  • Up to 25% travel required
