Volvo Group Fleet Part Sales Manager in Greensboro, North Carolina

Description:

The purpose of this job is to develop and retain existing National Fleet Parts Accounts to meet company profitability and revenue targets while also establishing new and conquest customers. Enhance Volvo Trucks North America and Mack Trucks Inc. as the market leader for National Fleet parts procurement.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain a number of assigned National Accounts

  • Implement parts sales programs direct to new and existing Fleets. Implement Fleet parts sales support programs through North American Dealers

  • Introduce and promote FleetPREFERRED Parts Purchasing programs to National accounts

  • Approve all Fleet retail assistance programs to respond to competitive market conditions

  • Ensure sales & profits for National Accounts meet or exceed corporate targets

  • Understand and communicate the strategy of Focused Market Growth

  • Develop Business models to attain profitable growth for both the dealer body and Volvo Trucks North America and Mack Trucks Inc.

  • Ensure sales initiatives provide for: Customer Satisfaction, Value/Quality, & Growth

  • Work in conjunction with Fleet Truck Sales and Customer Satisfaction departments

  • Work in conjunction with Dealer Parts Sales and Service departments

  • Participate in Trade Shows/Customer functions to support our products

  • Execute Aftermarket Part Sales process

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • BS/BA Business Management or Marketing or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 10 years automotive or related industry experience

  • Minimum 7 years Sales and/or Marketing experience, at least 5 in a management role

  • Minimum 1 year Fleet experience and/or Fleet interface
