Volvo Group Intern: Labor Relations (Fall 2018) in Dublin, Virginia

Summary

The purpose of this position is to assist the Labor Relations department with assignments specific to staffing.

Duration

Assignment will begin on August 13, 2018 and continue through December 14, 2018 up to 30 hrs/week.

Core Responsibilities

  • Creative assignments to support local Labor Relations objective

  • Active participation in continuous improvement collaborations to facilitate providing a standardized process of identifying and recruiting talent

  • Map the process including timelines from recruitment to onboarding

  • Participate in training and development to support project team deliverables

  • Learn the processes, ways of working, and identify areas of improvement

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Business Administration of Human Resources, or similar field, from an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship.

  • Student should have a minimum GPA of 3.0
