Mission/Purpose of the Job

Create an environment for the internal and external customers to be “easy to do business with” by managing and developing of Sales and Operational Planning. Lead and execute all aspects of Sales Operations Planning.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Consolidate the Commercial truck volume request from Mack by challenging the sales organization on order intake, inventory development, and request quality

  • Lead and execute Mack Demand Planning: balance customer demand for flexibility, production efficiency and inventory levels

  • Develop the supply plan per market in close cooperation with Operations

  • Lead the Long Term Volume Planning

  • Lead and develop the Sales Order and Delivery

  • Execute on process efficiency (focusing on Lead Time and Delivery Precision) in cooperation with Process Management

  • Interface with X-functional functional leadership driving the “Easy to Do Business With” strategy aiming Lead Time Reduction and Delivery Precision

  • Drive performance in the SOP process through networking and follow up on relevant KPI’s

  • Act as liaison between Mack and Regional teams, as well as lead the support for Commercial area

Personal Profile

Essential Educational and/or Training Qualifications and Certificates

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics or Production Engineering or equivalent

  • Master in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred

  • Preferred Experience and Knowledge

  • 7 to 10 years’ experience in Volvo Group

  • 5 years’ experience in Sales and Operational Planning or similar

  • 5 years’ experience in managing people

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a proven track record in building excellent working relationships and operating effectively as a member of a leadership team
