Volvo Group Parts Representative in Corona, California


This position is responsible to provide support to customers, vendors and/or the service department by taking and processing parts orders. The person responsible must be detail oriented, able to provide courteous and professional services and the ability to operate in a fast paced environment with a team compiled of vendors, co-workers and customers.

Tasks and Responsibilities (Included but not limited to the following.)

  • Oversee the parts: sale orders, picking and distributing

  • Process emergency part orders in a timely manner

  • Assist with inventory management (receiving, warehousing, shipment, ordering, monitoring backorders)

  • As directed, will deliver and/or pick up parts and material

  • Communicate with Volvo DCSM on parts availability issues

  • Determine pricing on all orders is correct and in accord to company policy

  • Conduct daily tracking of outstanding orders and/or shipments

  • Able to routinely communicate with customers to promote Volvo initiatives, as available

Education and Professional Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred

  • 2-4 years of prior work experience (Construction, Warehouse, Automotive industry) preferred;Valid California Drivers license

Additional Requirements

  • Proficient in inventory computer systems (Quipware, Microsoft Office Products)

  • Knowledgeable of warehouse inventory numbering system

  • Knowledge in shipping methods, material handling equipment and tools

  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills required;

  • Able to complete in-house certification for Forklift Operato

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
